Staff properties

Set the staff parameters.

• «Line count» — Number of lines that will appear on each staff.
• «Mute» — Mutes this staff during playback.
• «Rastrum»/«Scale» — Specifies the scaling of the staff and its symbols.
• «Tablature» — Check this to display the staff and its notes as a tablature.
  • «Fret count» — Number of frets on the instrument’s fret board. (Used during note entry.)
  • «Show duration» — Set this to display stems and circular note heads for quarters and halves.
  • «Tuning» — Specifies the pitch of every string.
  • «Guitars» — Select a predefined instrument from a list.
