Musitek’s SmartScore X represents a revolutionary departure in music scanning technology. In addition to recognizing and reconstructing nearly any scanned musical score or PDF file with astonishing thoroughness and accuracy, it is also one of the easiest music-writing solutions available. Powerful and useful tools are never more than a button away. Complete layout control is at your fingertips. Change staff and system heights, horizontal and vertical margins, line spacing and note size simply by dragging control tabs. Center, offset and unify score layout with a single click. No other program handles scanned-in music so accurately, so simply and completely as SmartScore X. Other than the human artist, nothing applies so much nuance and realism to the performance of printed sheet music

I have just bought a keyboard and imput the drivers correctly into magicscore school 6 , when I record the program asks the note duration I want ex 1/4 1/2 etc so when I play the keyboard the music I'm trying to compose is not in real time. It shows everything in quarter notes instead of what I'm playing . What am I doing wrong?  I'm a complete novice at this but really excited about the possibilities of classical composition with this process .

p/s found something that works I turn on the metronome and start getting what I played , put can.t find the place where you change metronome speed I have magicScore school 6 classic  Any help?

Just asking again about .sf2 files.

Does anyone have any information that might be of help about obtaining them, or how to build a  sound bank of them? I did a little research on line, but I'm not sure I'm really understanding the "big picture."

Thanks.

Okay. I understand about adding the font bank, but I do not see a .sf2 file in my Music Maestro files anywhere and when I tried to click on the "Download fonts" button shown in the window, it took me to a non-functioning page.

How do I get the .sf2 files? should they have been in my MM.7 files?

Thanks.

Hello!

You have create virtual device in Templats | Devices menu and add to this device
sound font banks (file .sf2), next you have select this device in "Export Audio" window before export.

All the Best,
Sergey.

I am trying to export my music to Audio. I keep getting a "Sound fonts for selected device are absent" message. I am running witih Windows 7, and I use Music Maestro 7. Did something not get installed at the beginning? Am I missing something else somewhere? I'm not even surewhere  to look for "sound fonts." Any help is appreciated.

I am using MigicScore School verion 6. WHen I play back a score the timbre often changes from the one that I assign to something else. This usually occurs about the second measure. I am using Windows XP. Any suggestions?

Hello!

You can use special convertor for export MIDI to WAVE format.
Thank you for the suggestion.
